Went to open mic night last night with Angie, Brown were playing. As much as I love their album I was yet to see them play, until last night! They were splendid. Oh the joy of hearing songs you like played live. Well any songs played live are little ear treats I suppose. I was so happy that they played my favourite song. Woo. Ross' Secret Stash

As i was watching Ross look for some crayons for me to take into my exam, i saw him open up this box. They are empty. A box of empty eclipse tins. Apparently him and George used to buy tins of them and put them all in their mouth for a laugh. Then spit them all over the footpath. Classic.

Oh how i laugh at this. Isn't it an odd thing to have stored away :)

Why is it that when you really wanna go out, or just get out of the house, or pretty  much do anything else rather than study for a goddamn exam everyone is busy. Is there anyone out there on this Saturday night that is not busy? The answer to that my friend is a big whopping no. Perhaps there is some secret conspiracy type situation i am not aware of whereby men in suits and hats are going to come into the doors of all homes to do their annual backup of data from all of the secret microphones that are in our smoke alarms, blenders and kitty litter trays. They have organised for everyone else to be out but me, i slipped through the radar because i am nothing more than background noise and because i wear an anti tracking device - of which i did not know was such a thing -  in my ear. Now what do i do? Do i sit here with Fred and wait? Are we safe? What do i watch while i wait? Should i make toast? All of these questions are creating a whirlwind in my head and escaping through the plughole which is reality.



No more movies. The Adjustment Bureau has filled my head with more rubbish than a rubbish store. STUDYTIME.

Suppose I happen upon a snail; Big. Worthy. Larger than I. His shell contains swirls of what I can only ascertain to be an arabic script. Do I ask him what the hell he is doing in my kitchen and why he didn't select a more floral habitat for his secretions? I gag at the thought of him answering me in any language.

Boredom Blabber

I've considered taking up a drinking problem.. I'm unsure if this is a wise idea. I am under the impression that it will fill the void that has been left by all of my friends DESERTING me! No names... I mean a few casual wines at night time wouldn't be too bad would it? Although, it could end up being quite costly. Perhaps it would be better to save up the money and buy some friends. Or one of those realistic (sex) dolls. Not for the sex part obviously, but for the delusional company? I saw that documentary where those crazy men dress them up and treat them like real ladies. Or like in lars and the real girl. Except I will just picnic with them and then go home, not ravage the poor piece of plastic.

Requires more consideration I feel...I think this is going down a darker avenue than I had envisioned. A pro and con list might help. A glass of wine even? Back to square one...

New Beirut!

East Harlem! Its a typically lovely Beirut song. There is speculation of a new album later in the year. I would like this to be so.  There IS a new album coming out The Rip Tide and should be out end of amurrcan summer. Which is like.. end of our winter, right? aaaadunno. Can't wait tho.

An Awesome Post!

So, ive been doing a bit of stalking rather than writing my essay, on that Shannyn Sossamon lady.

Turns out shes not in Warpaint anymore?? Apparently she was the original drummer but cause of her acting career had to leave? Accordning to the internets. So i think the lady i was thinking of must have been her younger sister Jenny Lee Lindberg (who is also a super neato babe etc.).

But then.. you (Liv) met her as someone from Warpaint so its all so confusing..

So Shannyn has a kid with this guy called Dallas Clayton who is this childrens book illustrator.
You really should check out his stuff, this is a screen shot from An Awesome Book! which you seem to be able to view online which i think is pretty ideal.

And this Dallas and Shannyn have a kid together right, his name is AUDIO SCIENCE CLAYTON.

No joke, interesting huh?
